Why Boston? Founded back in 1630, Boston is the “hub” of New England, the capital of the Massachusetts and the town where the seeds of the American Revolution were planted.  It’s the home of the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Bruins and a short train ride from the New England Patriots.  Within its vicinity, it has the finest educational and medical institutions, world-class museums and architecture, the most beautiful beaches, glorious mountains, and, most importantly, a diversity of people with unsurpassed skills, talent and drive.

Boston, located in Suffolk County, is home to the Suffolk Superior Court, the new Brooke Courthouse (which includes the Boston Municipal Court, the Suffolk Probate Court, the Juvenile Court, the Suffolk Housing Court and the Land Court), a new Federal Courthouse home of the Federal District Court and Court of Appeals, state and federal office administrative courts and bureaucracies, and the newly renovated John Adams Courthouse which houses the Supreme Judicial Court.  Established in 1692, the SJC is the oldest appellate court in the Northern Hemisphere.  It sits outside my window, reminding me every day why it was established by the Massachusetts Constitution:  “It is essential to the preservation of the rights of every individual, his life, liberty, property, and character, that there be an impartial interpretation of the laws, and administration of justice.”
