“Aggressive, Caring and Effective”

We offer personal representation to victims of car accidentspersonal injurychild injurywrongful deathlegal malpractice, and personal bankruptcy.

A member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1985, I have been at my Boston office, located at Six Beacon Street, Suite 710, since 1987. I have represented hundreds of clients in Boston and throughout Massachusetts. This includes representation in personal injury jury trials, in settlement negotiations of accident cases, mediations against motor vehicle insurance companies, and arbitrations against the insurance lawyers. Our job is to secure the best results for our clients. Our practice includes representing victims in the District Courts, Superior Courts, the Appeals Court, Probate Courts Federal Bankruptcy Court and the Federal District Court.

Personal Injury

Many of our clients are victims of personal injuries. They and their families need clear and concise counsel to help them with the legal aspects of their claims. The insurance companies are stacked with procedures, formulas and methods that an experienced attorney can help navigate. We caringly guide our clients; we work effectively with the insurance companies; we communicate with our clients from day one until the day the case is resolved. The process is effective because we have the experience. We aim to be their lawyer thereafter as well; we offer a personal injury blog to keep our clients informed of the law.

Personal injury clients receive free consultations and free home or hospital visits for serious injuries. My office does not charge a fee until we are successful in obtaining monies for our clients.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

Many people believe that if another driver causes an accident, the other driver’s insurance company will automatically pay for their damages. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We will zealously defend your rights and pursue your case. There are strict time limits for pursuing such claims, and the sooner you contact us, the quicker we can begin marshaling our efforts toward presenting your claim and recovering the damages you deserve.

Wrongful Death

We have also represented many families who have suffered the loss of a loved one.Wrongful death, cases are especially difficult for the family. Often another family member has suffered personal injuries from the same catastrophe, whether it was a motor vehicle collision, a house fire, or a result of negligently maintained premises. Our services include filing the probate of the estate and negotiating settlement or trial.

Bankruptcy

For over twenty five years, I have represented clients in personal bankruptcy The law says that everyone is entitled to a “fresh start” and that law has helped hundreds of our clients find a new beginning. This could be following a period of unemployment, a life changing incident or series of incidents, a loss of business, a failed mortgage, or for some other reason. The law does not judge the reason. The changes made to the bankruptcy law in 2005 make it somewhat more difficult to file, but we will guide you through the process, prepare the bankruptcy petition and schedules, attend the meeting of creditors in court with you, and secure the discharge. We also offer post bankruptcy counseling to assist you with reviving your credit. Furthermore, we have an active Boston Bankruptcy Blog, which keeps our clients up to date on bankruptcy law and consumer issues.

Legal Malpractice

Legal malpractice is an area of law that is not discussed much; not with lawyers, or in the media. Unfortunately, like medical negligence, there are lawyers who are negligent in their representation of clients. This typically includes neglecting to follow the Rules of Civil Procedure, the law on the Statute of Limitations, or simply not knowing the law and allowing a client to lose his or her rights. We take those cases; we try those cases; we win those cases. We offer a free file review for qualified cases.
