Heather L. Zengilowski is an attorney at the Law Firm of Burns & Jain.  Attorney Heather Zengilowski concentrates her practice on representing victims of personal injury and legal malpractice. She works with Attorney Roshan Jain and Attorney Neil Burns to zealously represent clients and produce positive outcomes and solutions through litigation.

Heather comes to Burns & Jain with 8 years of civil litigation experience. Prior to joining Burns & Jain, Heather was the managing partner at PIP Collect, a law firm in Salem, representing medical providers against insurance companies for unpaid medical bills accrued in the treatment of injured patients. In addition to supervising lawyers, paralegals, and other staff, she worked on the firm’s complex cases against numerous automobile insurance carriers in Massachusetts. During her tenor at PIP Heather played an integral role in client relationship management and education. She prides herself on ensuring that all clients understand the risks and processes of Civil Litigation. Heather has experience in the preparation of civil litigation documents including demands, pleadings, discovery, motions, memorandums of law, and trial preparation documents. Heather’s litigation skills and experience include, complex motion practice, legal writing and research, and regular court appearances through all phases of litigation. Heather began her legal career as lawyer at a general practice firm in Chelmsford where she focused on representing victims of personal injury.

Heather graduated from Simmons College in 2009 with a degree in Political Science and Communications and received her J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law in 2014. Heather has two certificates from the Harvard Division of Continuing Education in Leadership.

Heather is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the US District Court of Massachusetts Bar, and the New Hampshire Bar.

In her free time Heather enjoys entertaining family and friends at her home, spending time with her two rescue dogs, and reading as much fiction as she can.
