Attorney Casey Sack is an associate at the law firm of Burns & Jain, LLC. Casey’s practice focuses on representing clients in professional liability claims and in civil litigation matters.
Casey works with Attorney Neil Burns and Attorney Roshan Jain on personal injury cases, uninsured cases, underinsured cases, and Chapter 93A and 176D Consumer Protection cases in which the insurance company has made unfair offers of settlement or has been deceptive in their investigation and evaluation of reasonable and fair injury claims.

Casey also works on legal malpractice litigation cases.  Legal malpractice requires proving that a client’s former lawyer attorney failed to protect the client’s rights in addition to proving the underlying action. These cases require a comprehensive understanding of the underlying action and management through complex civil procedure when battling the heavily funded insurance defense trial attorneys. Casey’s focus and drive is critical in such cases.

Casey graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Casey worked for the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in the Capital Habeas Unit, advocating on behalf of death sentenced prisoners in post-conviction proceedings. Casey also interned at the Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. She served in two positions as a research assistant, which were primarily focused on criminal law and immigration law. During her employment as a research assistant, she was copy editor of Criminal Law & Philosophy, a multidisciplinary, international law journal and helped launch a curriculum to prepare non-lawyers to represent immigrants in proceedings before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She also worked as a law clerk in civil litigation, participating in mediations, trial preparation, and appellate matters. Upon graduation, Casey was awarded the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service, acknowledging her work throughout law school on behalf of the disenfranchised. Prior to law school, Casey worked for five years as a litigation paralegal in New York City.

Casey is admitted to the following bars: Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Casey is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and Boston Bar Association.
